Monday, July 16, 2018

San Diego is known for its great outdoors and sunny weather. From beaches and parks to deserts and mountains, our region has plenty of outdoor spaces to offer if you want to GO Outside!

Experiencing the outdoors makes exercise easier, increases brain function, amps up vitamin D intake, reduces stress, improves our relationship with nature, and makes us happy! What is not to love?

Wondering where to go once you've landed in San Diego? Find your next adventure at GetOutsideSanDiego.org. Here you can find 1000+ parks, 20 categories of outdoor activities, and great expert-rated adventures to experience in San Diego County.

San International Airport (SAN) strives to be a good neighbor to surrounding communities and environments. We also value personal wellness and traveling green for our employees and passengers. Next time you are in our great city, check out what all the fuss is about!

Get Outside San Diego was developed by GreenInfo Network with grant support from the Brutten Family Fund at The San Diego Foundation. GreenInfo is a nonprofit that aids other public interest groups and agencies in making effective use of maps and related location based information. SAN is excited to share this helpful tool with our community and passengers.

Happy exploring!
