2017 Sustainability Report Released!

Tuesday, June 26, 2018

San Diego International Airport (SAN) demonstrated a deep commitment to financial, social, and environmental responsibility last year. Our efforts are highlighted in our annual Sustainability Report ""Aviation Matters: A Sustainability Report for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority."" The report hit the street in June and highlights our past year's activities and accomplishments in our five strategic areas of focus: Community, Customer, Employee, Financial, and Operational.

Our annual Sustainability Report helps us better track, understand, and communicate our performance across a variety of topic areas that are relevant to our stakeholders. We use the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as a tool to guide the report's development.

The report is a key element of our Five-Year Strategic Plan. In 2022, our goal is to have our integrated leadership team continuing to evolve the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (the managing organization of SAN) into a passenger-focused, business-driven, community center enterprise that is recognized for financial, social, and environmental sustainability.

Check out the report to see how the triple bottom line thrives at SAN.
