Bus Service
Public transit is available via the Flyer Route No. 992, a Metropolitan Transit
System bus that travels to and from the Airport and downtown San Diego, stopping
between Terminals 1 and 2 and the Commuter Terminal. The 10-minute bus service
connects with Trolley, Coaster and Amtrak stations and is wheelchair accessible.
Planning a trip using Flyer Route 992 is easy when you use the
Online Transit Information System.
Inter-Airport Red Bus
The Red Bus provides complementary, wheelchair-accessible transportation between
the Airport's terminals at intervals not to exceed 10 minutes. Designated Red
Bus stops are located curbside at all three terminals. For additional
information call Lindbergh Parking, Inc. at 619.291.1508.
Car Rental/Courtesy Vehicles
Car rental agencies provide special access courtesy vehicles. A telephone at the
reservation boards in each Baggage Claim area can be used to request a special
access shuttle. You also can use the nearest TDD public phone to notify Airport
Paging. An Airport Traffic Officer will be dispatched to assist you.
Taxicab/Shuttle Services
Need a taxi or a shuttle? Proceed directly to curbside and indicate to an
Airport Traffic Officer that you need a ride. The Officer will secure a taxicab
or shuttle equipped with special access features. You may also proceed to the
nearest TDD public phone location and call Airport Paging to request assistance.
An Airport Traffic Officer will be dispatched to assist you.
Parking
Parking for travelers with disabilities is available in the parking lots of all
three Airport terminals, as well as the Airport's long-term parking lots on
