As construction on the new Terminal 1 progresses, it will be necessary to shift some airlines to other locations at the airport. Please be advised of the following construction impacts beginning February 18, 2022.

ALLEGIANT AIR RELOCATION:  Effective February 18, Allegiant Air will shift operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 East. Allegiant’s ticket counter will be at the west end of the American Airlines ticket counter.

JETBLUE AIRWAYS RELOCATION: Effective February 24, JetBlue Airways will shift operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 West. JetBlue’s ticket counter will be at the east end of the Delta Air Lines ticket counter.

The relocation is to make space available as construction continues for the New T1 project which includes the replacement of the outdated Terminal 1, improvements to the airfield, improved transportation connectivity to the airport, and a new facility for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (Airport Authority) administration.

As always, check with your airline regarding flight status before coming to the airport and leave yourself plenty of time to make it to your gate. Parking at the airport is limited. Reserve your spot ahead of time or hop on the new San Diego Flyer airport shuttle at the Old Town Transit Center.

For more information on the New T1 project including information on current and future construction impacts please visit, newt1.com. To find out in which terminal each airline is located, please visit san.org/Flights/Airlines.
