Lounges at SAN: Your Pre-Flight Escape

Customer Experience

Got time before your flight? You don’t have to spend it sitting at the gate. SAN has four lounges in Terminal 2 where eligible travelers can kick back, grab a bite, get some work done, or simply enjoy a little peace and quiet before takeoff.

Aspire Lounge
Terminal 2, between Gates 23 and 33

If you’re looking for a comfortable place to relax near the Alaska Airlines gates, the Aspire Lounge has you covered with food and beverage service, a full bar, and plenty of seating. Access is available through select airline and lounge programs, including Alaska Lounge+ and Priority Pass, as well as other eligible credentials. Check Alaska Airlines for current partner-lounge access details.

Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club
Terminal 2, between Gates 46 and 47

This is more than a place to wait for your flight. The Southern California-inspired lounge brings a distinctly San Diego feel to the airport, with surfboards designed by local muralist Hanna Daly and a digital wall featuring footage of the San Diego coastline. You can enjoy dishes from Oscar’s Mexican Seafood, coffee from Groundwork, wines curated by Parcelle, private rest pods, and even facial treatments from Face Haus. Eligible Chase card holders have access to the SAN Sapphire lounge. Please check the Chase website for current access details.

Delta Sky Club
Terminal 2, Mezzanine

Flying Delta? The Delta Sky Club offers a relaxing place to recharge with complimentary Wi-Fi, cocktails, and healthy food options. Access is available to eligible Delta Sky Club members, qualifying cardmembers, and travelers with other eligible credentials. See Delta for current access policies.

United Club
Terminal 2, Mezzanine

United travelers can settle in with complimentary snacks and beverages, Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating. Access is available through United Club memberships, eligible tickets and cards, and other qualifying options. One-time passes may also be available, subject to space. Check United for current access information.

So, whether you’re early for your flight or just ready to trade the gate area for something a little more relaxing, SAN has a lounge waiting for you. Consider it your pre-flight permission slip to sit back, recharge, and enjoy the journey before you even leave San Diego.
