Air Service Incentive Program

SAN drives growth and operational excellence through programs like the Air Service Incentive Program, which attracts new nonstop flights to underserved destinations. Additionally, the Airport Competition Plan promotes airline competition, meeting federal requirements when a few airlines dominate passenger traffic.

Eligibility: Airlines proposing new nonstop routes to destinations not currently served from SAN.
Incentives: Financial incentives may include waived landing fees, terminal rent reductions, and other support measures.

Airport Competition Plan
