SAN Parking Notice
Beginning July 1, short-term parking will be $3 per 15-minute increment, with a $40 daily maximum. Valet parking is $60 per day. Reserve your Terminal 1 Parking Plaza parking in advance and use promo code SUMMER15 to save an additional 15% on eligible stays through Aug. 31.
The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA) manages several types of activities at San Diego International Airport (SDIA) through permits. Please submit your application and permit forms to [email protected]. Applications will be processed within three (3) to five (5) business days.
Permits are required for film crews and photographers conducting activities at SDIA. Approved activities are restricted to designated areas and are not considered public forums for First Amendment purposes. Activities are subject to change at SDCRAA’s discretion.
Individuals or groups engaging in expressive activities must obtain a permit and use designated locations. Details are outlined in the Expressive Activities application. Locations and guidelines may change at SDCRAA’s discretion.
Groups or individuals can reserve a specific area to meet arriving or departing passengers by applying for a Meet and Greet Permit. Planning to host an event on the airside? A special permit is required to ensure compliance with aviation safety, security, and operational protocols. All airside events must be approved in advance by the airport authority. Submit your permit request well in advance, as processing times and additional approvals may apply.
