The San Diego International Airport (SAN) Arts Program offers a variety of opportunities for artists, performers, curators, and cultural organizations to showcase their work to an audience of travelers. Through temporary exhibitions, performing arts residencies, and selection panel participation, the program aims to enrich the airport environment with dynamic and engaging art experiences.
SAN is seeking applications for its 2027 Performing Arts Residency Program. This six-month residency supports the development and public presentation of new work by contemporary performing artists working across disciplines, including music, dance, theater, interdisciplinary performance, digital media, and projection. Selected artists will receive funding, creative space, and opportunities to engage airport audiences.
