San Diego International Airport opens lactation rooms for nursing mothers

Friday, October 30, 2015

SAN DIEGO – October 30, 2015 – San Diego International Airport has opened three lactation rooms for nursing mothers traveling through the airport. The rooms are located post-security – two in Terminal 1 and one in Terminal 2 – and include a hand washing station, electrical outlets, comfortable seating, artwork, a children’s seat and soft lighting.

The rooms offer a quiet, private location for nursing mothers to breastfeed while traveling through the airport. The lactation rooms are an addition to the many customer amenities in place at the airport to make passengers’ experience more convenient, comfortable and enjoyable.

For an interactive map of San Diego International Airport showing the lactation room locations, please visit sanmap.san.org.
