“This is an exciting time for Condor as we continue to expand our route network in the important trans-Atlantic market. We are very pleased to introduce this new link between San Diego and Frankfurt, giving Southern California a unique choice for their travels to Germany” states Jens Boyd, Director Long Haul & Revenue Management Condor. “With our numerous partner airlines we offer flights beyond Frankfurt to over 120 destinations across Europe at very competitive prices. Furthermore San Diego is a very attractive destination for European tourists and we also will stimulate traffic from this direction.”

Besides Frankfurt, the service will provide travelers with convenient one-stop access to European destinations such as Paris, Vienna, Prague, Venice, Berlin, Rome, Zagreb and many more.

“This service does more than simply connect San Diego to Germany – it opens up all of central Europe to San Diego travelers,” said April Boling, Board Chairman for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. “This nonstop flight will connect family members, and provide leisure and business travelers with yet another option for these visitors to conveniently discover the treasures of Europe,” she added.
