SAN DIEGO – September 27, 2019 – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials have notified the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority that the Global Entry enrollment center at San Diego International Airport (SAN) would close September 30.  Now, travelers who have been conditionally approved for Global Entry may request to be enrolled upon arrival into SAN from international travel.  Conditionally approved travelers also have the option of scheduling their enrollment at the Otay Mesa enrollment center.

According to CBP, the Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) SENTRI and Global Entry enrollment centers in San Diego County will be consolidated into one, at the existing enrollment center at the Otay Mesa port of entry, in of an effort to provide service that is more efficient to the TTP community.
