Resounding Joy is a California-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through the healing power of music. Through compassionate, trauma-informed music therapy and therapeutic music programs, the organization brings comfort, connection, and hope to individuals and families across San Diego—offering services at little to no cost thanks to the generosity of its donors, sponsors, foundations, and grant partners. Its credentialed, board-certified music therapists (MT-BC) use evidence-based interventions to help clients achieve meaningful social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and mental health goals. Resounding Joy serves individuals across the lifespan—from premature infants in neonatal intensive care to older adults and those receiving end-of-life care—supporting people through some of life’s most vulnerable and challenging moments. While its primary focus is on communities throughout San Diego County, the organization also engages in select partnerships beyond California, including veteran-focused services in Massachusetts and individualized services in Indiana.
