SUMMARY:Fern Street Circus
DESCRIPTION:Performing Arts Residency Featuring Fern Street Circus \nThis holiday season\, Fern Street Circus brings laughter and playful connection to airport visitors with Wonders of Travel—Clowning Through the Terminal. Drawing on their decades of expertise in theater\, circus arts\, and clowning\, Fern Street Circus will co-create interactive\, unscripted performances with passengers\, led by the eccentric clown duo known as Abuelita and Gerold. These performers specialize in clowning that focuses on promoting wellness and healing in non-traditional performance environments. From emotional baggage drop-offs to clown spas and parades\, each encounter invites travelers to revel in the absurd side of travel while easing stress and sparking joy. \nSince 1990\, Fern Street Circus\, a beloved San Diego-based nonprofit\, has combined cultural storytelling\, community-centered performance\, and circus arts to bring the extraordinary into everyday life. Based in the City Heights neighborhood\, they offer regular programming that connects with audiences across language barriers and fosters both professional and personal growth. In addition to its public shows\, the nonprofit offers a free after-school program that teaches circus skills to kids. \nPerformances:  \nAirport Emotional Security + Emotional Baggage Drop Off | 10-10:30 a.m. | Gates 24-25\nClown Spa + Travel Tips |11-11:30 a.m. | Phils BBQ – Rotunda
