Nicole was born and raised in San Diego, California. Growing up, she knew she wanted to attend college somewhere very different from San Diego in order to gain all the experiences moving away from home has to offer. She is currently attending the University of Delaware to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in International Business Studies. While at school, Nicole keeps busy working at the University of Delaware Institute for Public Administration as well as through her membership in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is thrilled to be back in sunny San Diego this summer and to be part of such an amazing internship program. In particular, Nicole is enjoying learning how the airport is run and what goes on “behind the scenes,” since she grew up flying in and out of the San Diego International Airport. She hopes that during her time with the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority she will be able to use her web and graphic design skills to help communicate more efficiently and effectively with the San Diego community as well as those flying in to experience the city. Nicole also hopes to improve the ways in which information is communicated within the Authority.

Nicole was a gymnast for 13 years, most of which was spent as a competitive trampolinist. This gave her the opportunity to travel around the country, something she has always enjoyed doing. In addition, she has traveled to 13 countries and 25 states and looks forward to experiencing even more through an upcoming study abroad trip to Australia and Thailand. Nicole also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, baking, and relaxing on the beautiful San Diego beaches.
