Jill was born and raised in the small town of Bellefontaine, Ohio. She developed her love for aviation at a young age by building and flying model airplanes with her father. After taking an international trip to Japan, she knew she wanted to work in the aviation industry. To pursue this dream, Jill became a Buckeye at The Ohio State University. She graduated in June of 2011 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business with a major in Aviation Management.

Throughout her college career, Jill was involved in several different clubs around campus. She was Secretary of the OSU American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Chapter, a member of the OSU Democratic Club, and she loved cheering on her fellow Buckeyes by playing the flute in the athletic band. With her passion, dedication, and love for aviation, Jill applied to the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority internship program. Jill started her internship at the Authority only three days after graduation! Jill is excited to learn about the different areas of the airport and to see the holistic goals of the Airport Authority. She knows this amazing opportunity will provide her with the experience she needs to enter into the workforce.
