Anas
Kaziha is a Senior at San Diego State University (SDSU) pursuing a degree in Civil
Engineering; he is a first generation college student. He is currently a member
of the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineering) at SDSU. Anas has been interested
in airports ever since he visited both Dubai and Chicago O’Hare. He was excited
when he received an internship at the Airport Authority because he can finally see
how airports always stay in order.
Anas was born in San Diego but is originally from Damascus Syria. Anas has always been active in sports. His middle school soccer team won championships three years in a row. In high school, Anas played football his freshmen and sophomore years, and was also an accomplished forward in club water polo. His favorite recreational activities involve the beach: surfing, body surfing, and snorkeling.
