Dana
is originally from Northern Wisconsin and recently graduated cum laude from Florida
Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida with a degree in Aviation Management
with Flight. While in college, Dana received her single and multiengine commercial
pilot’s license with instrument rating and accumulated about 250 hours. She was
also a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed service fraternity where she learned the
importance of community involvement and lending a hand to those in need. Currently
in the Airport Noise Mitigation department, Dana is learning the ways of finding
a positive balance between the airport users and the surrounding community in regards
to airport noise. After this internship, Dana would like to get a job in noise mitigation
or airside operations to use as a stepping stone to further her career and eventually
become an Airport Director.
