Kiewit/Sundt would like to say THANK YOU to all the contractors/vendors and suppliers who contributed to the success of the Contract 2 - Landside Improvements projects; including the Elevated Departure Roadway (EDR), bridges, curbside check-in and the USO Building.
Engaging small, local and disadvantaged subcontractors in an area of high
unemployment was a priority for Kiewit/Sundt. The team completed the
project with small, local and disadvantaged participation at 34% of total
contract value or approximately $71 million dollars with the results broken out
as follows:
